To be fair, the old twilight zone episodes aren't EXACTLY something that hold up to most modern era standards. Some would, sure, and they hold great cultural significance no question, but the old show isn't entirely timeless; there are some parts which are notably dated.

Yeah, but my personal beef with the later stuff is that they can't really recapture the older seasons's ideas and tend to lean into topics that has already been well explored by others already. Even if the first run is hard to watch in places because the writing or effects are so outdated, there's still something rewarding in watching them that can't really be replicated to the same effect now! :B
